Originally from Croatia, I have been residing and working on Sunshine Coast, Queensland since 1994.
I acquired my first digital camera in february 2004 and from that moment I was hooked on creative possibilities of this medium.
Passionate kayaker and nature lover I used to spend my time exploring diverse waterways that abound on Sunshine Coast.
Camera suddenly opened up whole new World of possibilities for me. My creativity flourished and I started to tirelessly photograph natural beauty
of this area.
Art Gallery from Hyatt Regency Coolum in 2005 held my first Solo Exhibition. It was followed in 2006 with my second solo showing.
Since that time I have continued to exhibit my work in many of the local Art Galleries and participated in various group art shows.
Internet has allowed me to reach many of the art lovers from all parts of the globe. Canada,US,Italy,Austria,Germany,Poland,Croatia,New Zealand and Australia.
Geografically most of my work has been focused on local Sunshine Coast area as well as wider South East Queensland Region.
Landscape and nature photography remains my main source of inspiration. However, my photography interests are many and I am constantly on an eternal quest to find
new and effective ways to capture and articulate my love of nature and those elusive everyday moments of life.
Ultimately, for me being out there in nature with camera in my hands is much about the process of self discovery as it is about our disappearing natural environment.
I am passionate about nature and photography and I hope that reflects in my photographs.
